Stacey Shaw is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with 21 years of experience helping clients with a variety of mental health issues. She treats clients beginning at age 5 throughout the lifespan with extensive experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, seniors, families and couples. She utilizes a holistic, person centered approach while tailoring treatment to each client’s specific needs. She earned a graduate degree in nursing as a clinical nurse specialist from the University of Delaware with focus in cognitive behavioral therapy of adults and seniors. She continued her education at Eastern Kentucky University earning a post graduate certificate as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. She has completed additional education in dialectical behavior therapy with a focus on treating clients with borderline personality disorder and clients struggling to manage their emotions. She has also completed graduate education in primary care medicine. She enjoys gardening, ballroom dancing, traveling, the outdoors, trying new things and meeting people.
